Refund Policy

 Nimbus Communications Mobile Service Refund Policy
​This policy governs refunds for service plans, devices, and accessories purchased from Nimbus Communications.
​1. Service Plan Refunds (Airtime, Data, Monthly Charges)
​All charges for wireless service, including monthly access fees, overage fees, add-ons (like roaming or data packs), and activation fees, are subject to the following rules:


Prepaid/Top-Up Plans Non-Refundable Prepaid service credits, top-up cards, or monthly prepaid plan payments are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, regardless of usage.


Postpaid (Contract & No-Contract) Non-Refundable Monthly service fees are generally non-refundable. If service is canceled mid-billing cycle, you will be billed for the entire month, and no prorated refund will be issued for the unused portion of the month.


Activation & Setup Fees Non-Refundable Fees charged for service activation, setup, or upgrades are non-refundable once the service has been successfully activated.


2. Device and Accessory Returns (7-Day Satisfaction Period)
​Nimbus Communications offers a limited 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee on all devices (mobile phones, tablets, etc.) and accessories purchased directly from us.
​A. Eligibility for Refund
​To be eligible for a full refund or exchange, all devices and accessories must meet the following criteria:
​Time Limit: The item must be returned to a Nimbus Communications location or authorized return facility within 7 calendar days of the date of purchase or delivery.
​Condition: The item must be returned in "like-new" condition, which includes being free of any physical or water damage.
​Original Packaging: All original packaging, manuals, battery, charger, and accessories must be included.
​Proof of Purchase: The original receipt or proof of purchase is required.
​B. Exceptions & Fees
​SIM Cards: SIM cards are final sale and non-refundable.
​Opened Software/Headsets: Opened headphones, earbuds, or software are final sale and non-refundable due to health, hygiene, and licensing reasons.
​Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of up to $50.00 may be applied to any returned device, regardless of whether the original packaging is present or the device is defective.
​3. Contract Cancellation and Early Termination Fees (ETFs)
​This section applies only to Postpaid Plans that require a fixed-term contract.
​If a customer cancels a fixed-term contract after the 7-Day Satisfaction Period, an Early Termination Fee (ETF) will apply.
​The ETF amount will be calculated based on the remaining commitment period of the contract and the value of any subsidy provided for the device.
​The exact ETF amount will be specified in the customer's Service Agreement. Payment of the ETF is mandatory and is not eligible for refund.
​4. How to Request a Refund or Return
​Contact Support: You must first contact Nimbus Communications Customer Service to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without a valid RMA number will be rejected.
​Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for the cost of returning any physical items (devices/accessories) to Nimbus Communications. We recommend using a traceable shipping method.
​Processing: Once the item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be automatically processed to your original payment method within 10-15 business days.
